VOLUNTEER AT LEONARDSLEE
Volunteering to help at Leonardslee is an opportunity to be actively involved in ensuring that this national gem can continue to bring pleasure for generations to come. The estate includes many threatened plant species, first brought here in the early 1800s. It is the responsibility of all of us to ensure the estate does not fall into disrepair again.
There are many ways to get involved at Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens, to share your skills and make new friends at the same time.
What’s in it for you?
Becoming part of a friendly and dedicated team
Meeting people from all walks of life and making new friends
Improving your communication skills
Enjoying the great outdoors and learning something new every day
Discounts across the gardens and garden membership
GARDEN GUIDE
You will provide engaging tours of Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens and offer visitors with the necessary information for them to have an enjoyable visit. You will also play a role in conservation and health and safety by keeping an eye on wear and tear in the garden, and being aware of any access issues/hazards.
BUGGY DRIVER
As our gardens have steep slopes and hills the golf buggies are in place to help visitors with limited mobility to navigate the gardens. As a volunteer you will play a crucial role in helping visitors to gain access to the lower gardens and lakes. You will need to possess a clean driving license and have a friendly and welcoming disposition.
