Acrylic Pouring Workshops

15 December at 10:30 - 12:00

Try something different this year with the exciting new art form that is Acrylic Pouring. Be introduced to this new creative skill by talented local artist, Susan Westman.

Acrylic Pouring refers to a fluid painting technique which is used to create unique and eye-catching artistic designs by pouring acrylic paint straight onto canvas. The technique allows artists to apply different colours in variations of puddles, pools and marble-like patterns, resulting in a smooth, glossy finish.

About Susan Westman

She is truly humbled by my wonderful customers who keep my passion for art afloat.

Susan is very passionate about creativity. She says that it's so good for the soul, body and mind, Susan aim to inspire as many people as possible to fully embrace their inner creativity.

Susan has been teaching acrylic pouring for multiple years now and proudly have 100% great feedback from all my attendees.

Susan will share her own recipe which is more affordable (key when getting though a lot of it) but also archival (if you create master piece, it will last forever). Tips for natural cell production and looking at additives to get cells every time. Types of paints that can be used.

Paint consistency, this makes or breaks a painting so Susan shall work with you to feel comfortable with the consistency of your paints ready for pouring. Key when learning to acrylic pour.

A look at a handful of canvases Susan use to give you ideas and the opportunity to question me while your creative juices are flowing.

Please note: This is very much an introduction to the art form of acrylic pouring; you will not leave feeling like an expert and in fact will possibly have more questions than prior to doing the workshop! But the first steps of the journey can be taken with Susan and she is extremely happy to be here to take you through this fun and exciting workshop!
